Are you looking for a broad role taking responsibility within a project but still with a clear focus on technology? You will work in a dynamic role, have opportunities to travel and have the possibility to see tangible results of the projects and your efforts in the packages you meet in your everyday life.
Applied Material Design delivers to packaging systems in the platforms, as well as lifecycle and installation projects focused on existing material and converting technologies.
You are expected to take an active role being the voice of Applied Material Design.
As a Development Engineer, you will have core team and extended team roles in projects as well as contributing to knowledge building activities.
This is a temporary position during maternity Leave.
Main responsibilities
- Provide new packaging material solutions to product development projects
- Independently, as well with your extended team, find facts to solve problems, find opportunities and share findings as well as document in development reports
- Communicate plans, progress and results within your projects, competence area and towards stakeholders within Tetra Pak.
Qualifications
You are good in finding out how to get things done and how to organize people and activities. You also drive for result and push yourself and others to meet deadlines. Beside this you are good at building effective relationships with others and have the ability to adjust to the current situation.
Since Tetra Pak is producing packaging material globally, travel to our converting factories is part of the job.
The successful candidate has an Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or Material Science preferably combined with a few years work experience, preferably in the packaging industry.
