Our department

Within the Vehicle Acoustics, Performance, and Reliability section, there are five test teams. The Strength Testing team is responsible for the durability and strength testing of components and systems like; frames, axles, and suspensions as parts or as a system. Together we are creative and have the analytical ability to translate test needs and ideas into feasible and effective strength and durability tests.

Our Team

The team consists of seven engineers and four mechanics and are a mixture of different work experiences, nationalities, gender, and age. The atmosphere of the team where engineers and mechanics work closely together can be described with the following words; inclusion, teamwork, and relaxed attitude

What will your main responsibility and tasks be?

As a development engineer, you are responsible to test the reliability of future truck generations Your main tasks will consist;


• Develop test methods and test rigs.
• Perform strength and durability tests.
• Analyse, present, and report test results.

What are we searching for? Is this you?

To succeed in this role we believe that you are good at and enjoy establishing communication paths with the cross-functional teams closest connected to your role like design and FEM-calculation teams, and with our testing partners within the TRATON group. We would like you to be enterprising and easy to collaborate with and contribute to the positive atmosphere in the group. You are creative and see deliveries with precision and high quality as a natural part of the work and at the same time question/develop our process and methods in the group's improvement work.

We would also like that..


• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, solid mechanics, or equivalent.
• You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.

Experience from simulation or testing is meritorious but we are interested in all your skills and how you can contribute to our daily work.
