About the Role:
We are thrilled to represent a globally renowned brand in their pursuit for a dedicated Development Engineer. Dive into a unique opportunity where you'll immerse yourself in the exciting world of packaging material and package development with the Material Solutions team.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Being an integral member of the scrum team, translating intricate requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Playing a key role in transforming these requirements into innovative packaging material and package designs.
- Leading the V&V strategy and execution for both technology and product development projects.
- Crafting comprehensive test specifications, analyzing outcomes, and delivering detailed reports.
- Collaborating effectively with an array of stakeholders, from suppliers and specialists to labs and factories.
- Taking charge of root cause analyses related to packaging performance.
- Spearheading risk assessment initiatives for materials and packages.
- Innovating and introducing new procedures, tests, and validation methods.
Must-have Skills:
- Sharp analytical prowess and articulate communication abilities.
- A knack for managing intricate scenarios with ease.
- Team-centric attitude, but with a penchant for autonomous initiatives.
- Academic foundation, ideally a Master of Science in Materials or a related field.
- Proficient English communication skills.
Desired Expertise:
- Prior involvement in the product development realm, especially in packaging.
- Familiarity with technical test methodologies pertinent to packaging.
- In-depth understanding of Packaging Material, Food Package Interaction, and Statistics.
- Proven expertise in Physical Testing.
- Familiarity with Requirement Management procedures.
- Knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies is a valuable plus!

While remote work is available for 1-2 days a week, the primary work location is onsite in Lund, Sweden.
