Job Summary
We are looking for a Development Engineer who will work with web handling of thin flexible material in converting factories where packaging material is manufactured.
In this role you will be an individual contributor who will develop new solutions within the field of web handing technology. You will participate in problem solving activities across the converting line, as well as supporting our factories. You will be part of a small team of development engineers and specialists.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden, but you will work in a global arena which requires occasional travelling.
What you will do
As Development Engineer within Web Handling for converting equipment, you will:
Develop, implement and maintain innovative solutions related to Web Handling equipment and process, in collaboration with equipment suppliers.
Be part of issue resolution and support our converting factories on technical issues.
Participate in development projects and technology knowhow activities relevant to the field.

We believe you have
Degree of Master of science in Engineering.
Solid experience in packaging material converting or similar material processing.
Knowledge of web handling process and control systems.
Experience of Automation in manufacturing process.
An analytical reasoning and a structured way of working.
You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.

You are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. You also need to be self-motivated with an inner drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization. Your communication style is open, and you find it easy to collaborate with others within and outside the organisation.
