Development Engineer

Bluetest is growing, and we are now looking for a talented engineer who is interested in our new technology. You will work mainly within one area (method & system), but in close interaction with other departments in cross functional project teams. The work is mainly located in our headquarters in Gothenburg, but time-limited tasks are located at our international customers’ labs or as participant at international conferences.

• Develop cutting edge products that will be used by leading tech companies around the world
• Become an expert of the next generation of wireless systems before they are even launched
• Become a member of the Bluetest engineering community with software, RF and antenna experts in Sweden, USA and China


We believe that you have
• A master degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 0-5 years of engineering work experience
• Passion for electromagnetics and communication theory
• Interest and experience of writing technical documents and conducting oral presentations
• Experience in Python and/or C++ programming
• Excellent skills in English, written and spoken. Fluency in other languages is highly appreciated.


Possible experience in (no requirement)
• Interest in numerical methods and experience in NumPy/MATLAB or similar
• Electromagnetic simulations
• Base station testing and/or development
• Lab instrument control programming
• Interest in project management

About Bluetest
Bluetest AB is world leading in over-the-air measurements of wireless devices in reverberation chambers. Our products are used in R&D labs to verify performance of wireless devices and antennas. We have customers worldwide, among them the largest mobile phone manufacturers, operators, and wireless device manufacturers. The majority of all mobile phones on the market are developed with the aid of Bluetest’s solutions. Research and product development take place at our HQ in Gothenburg and in Gävle. Sales and support are handled from our local offices in USA and China.
