Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.The Sterilisation and Hygienic Systems within Packaging Technologies develops and improves knowledge of a set of techniques used in a filling machine to sterilise the Packaging Material, to sterilise the Machine itself and to clean the filling system.Sterilisation and Hygienic system is looking for a Development Engineer that will be based in Lund.If you interested in working with us, we can offer you: . A multi-cultural environment The key tasks and responsibilities will be: . Technology Scouting and interface with Technology Intelligence Department . Pilot rigs and machine prototypes to expand the knowledge in sterilisation process and to develop new sterilisation systems . Record and process the achieved data in order to formulate hypothesis and build models . Support Projects and Systems during scouting tests and machine validation The preferred candidate has experience in the area of sensors and data analysis and has a technical education, preferably at a University level of MSc in either applied physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. As a person you have strong analytical skills in combination with a practical nature.You are able to work in a structured and independent way taking you own decisions within your area of responsibilities.You are a good communicator, able to explain complicated things in an easy way.You are as comfortable to work alone as in a team.Good command of English, both written and verbal, is required.
