Development Engineer

In this position you will have the opportunity to work with Tetra Pak's future Packaging Systems.You have a genuine technical interest and can contribute to a team with multiple competences.

You will be an important player in a cross functional development team, consisting of development engineers working within: design, automation, calculation and production engineering.We work in all areas of a Packaging Equipment development.

Examples:
At the moment we are working with new technologies to reduce operational cost in our existing packaging equipment platforms but also with completely new packaging line concepts.

We are now looking for a Development Engineer dedicated to work with Technology development for future Tetra Pak Packaging Equipment concepts.Your main tasks will be;

- Work in different packaging technology development projects with the aim to design new state of the art technology for the platforms
- Work as a development engineer with simulation tools and having the possibility to combine mechanical design with practical rig tests.
- Work together with our suppliers and other central competence organizations.


Kvalifikationer

The successful candidate has a passion and interest for new front-end technology development of packaging equipment.You have the ability to combine the practical and theoretical parts of this position.You have personal drive and are analytical, positive, independent and a structured individual with high ability to cooperate with other project members in your work.You need to be fluent in both written and verbal English

You possess a Master/ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, preferably including applied knowledge of tools as ProEngineer and ProMechanism.Practical experience from manufacturing of packaging equipment experience is an advantage.In combination with this, 3 - 5 years of work experience as Mechanical designer is preferred.Your understanding of a process and project orientated working style is also useful.Having experience from the Tetra Pak World Class Engineering methods and experience from working in customer environment is an advantage.
