3rd party & Tetra Recart equipment, within Equipment Engineering, D&T, is a dedicated team responsible for 3rd party & Tetra Recart equipment in or filling lines. Our machines operate all over the world with diverse and challenging demands on our equipment. To meet these demands our development teams must find simple, robust and cost-efficient solutions to deliver customer value.
In the role as Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of equipment and related technology with high focus on quality. The tasks include concept evaluations, guide the choice of supplier, product development as well as product life cycle activities and related documentation in Tetra Pak system. Your assignments will include frequent interactions with other people and competence areas such as automation, test engineers, product owners, supplier management & Tetra Pak Services.
This position is permanent and you will be based in Lund, Sweden. You will report to the Manager 3rd Party Equipment & Tetra Recart and the role will include business travel up to 20% of your time.
What you will do
Be part of a scrum team with product ownership
Break down requirements and root causes into tangible engineering attributes
Supplier evaluation and selection together with other key stakeholders
Drive suppliers and solution evaluation including planning, requirements handling, design, validation and documentation
Drive improvement of activities of existing portfolio (Product Development After Launch, PDAL)
Pursue studies and know-how of new technical areas and solutions
Interact with broad range of stakeholders and manage communication related to your activities
We believe you have
More than 6 years of experience, fully competent and professional. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures for the completion of difficult assignements related to the following skills areas:
Aseptic
Sealing
Filling, Forming
You are a person with strong analytical skills and a genuine technical interest. You combine strong drive with a high commitment to quality. You have a broad experience of different technical areas and are used to manage suppliers. Customer need is a top priority for you. You manage contacts with other competences with ease, within, as well as outside the company and you are a natural team player. It is important you have experience of managing technical requirement and requirements fulfilment discussion both with clients as well as with suppliers including documentation and communication in the process.
You have a University degree in Engineering and at least 5 years well documented experience from product development or similar relevant experience.
To be successful in the role you will need a good command of English, both spoken and written as well as experience of working in projects within given time and cost frames. It is also beneficial if you have past experience from customer support activities and/or knowledge in SAP.
