Development Engineer

Carton Economy is responsible for Development and Engineering of a product portfolio, with the strategic intention of enabling Tetra Pak to build a new costumer and consumer base in the developing and emerging markets with low purchasing power.The product portfolio needs to meet the value chain demands on products produced in simple and robust packaging lines with a low cost profile targeted to reach mass markets.


Your employment will be in Superstructure Module, one of three filling machine modules within Equipment Lines organisation with the responsibility of package material sterilization, machine sterilization, tube forming, longitudinal sealing, product filling etc.We are involved from technology development, product development to product life cycle.We have a close cooperation with the complete value chain such as manufacturing, assembly including follow up at customer sites.We have the full responsibility to deliver fully verified functions with the correct cost, performance etc.


Your main responsibilities are to:

-Act as Core Team Member in activities and projects with responsibility to deliver according to our Product Development process within the Capital Equipment Development swim lane
-Lead Technical Studies in the area of Superstructure Module responsibility such as Sterilization System, Filling System and Tube Forming
-Facilitate and lead Robust Design activities such as FMEA, p-diagram, DoE and other statistical methods


Kvalifikationer

We believe you are a typical goal-oriented person with a lot of personal drive and energy to motivate yourself and others.You have good team leadership skills since you will act as a Core team member in activities and projects.We take for granted that you have good communication skills.A structured and analytical work style will also be successful in this position.

You have a MSc within Engineering and also minimum 5 years experience within mechanical design.We also believe that you have technical project management experience.Experience in robust design / simulation tools and/or Six Sigma will be seen as a strong advantage.Very good command of English is required.
