Development Engineer

Carton Economy is responsible for Development and Engineering of a product portfolio, with the strategic intention of enabling Tetra Pak to build a new costumer and consumer base in the developing and emerging markets with low purchasing power.The product portfolio needs to meet the value chain demands on products produced in simple and robust packaging lines with a low cost profile targeted to reach mass markets.

The Secondary & Primary Package Design group within Carton Economy is looking for a Development Engineer.Our role is to support projects, package specification managers as well as product management with package design competence.As current projects are for economy markets such as China, Vietnam, Russia and Peru, some travel is part of our work.

Your main responsibilities are:

-To translate consumer/retail/customer requirements and develop cost-efficient primary, as well as secondary package concepts
-To drive package competence projects with the aim to increase the technical package design capability

All activities include coordination of initial tests on package concepts/solutions including technical, cost and market performance.

Kvalifikationer

You have an academic degree within engineering and a documented experience in package design, packaging logistics and/or material development related areas.
