Development Engineer

Role Summary/Purpose:

Develop chromatography media in collaboration with customers and project manager. Plan, perform and document project work. Develop and document synthetic methods for industrial chromatography media. Essential Responsibilities:

Create new products
Plan and execute organic synthesis
Practice design of experiments and multivariate analysis
Do primary characterization of intermediate products, i.e. titration and liquid chromatography
Transform the synthetic method into a large scale production method
Prepare and present scientific material internally / externally
Take on delegated responsibility for project management and administration

Qualifications/Requirements:

M.Sc. in chemical engineering or chemistry, preferably with experience in organic synthesis and product development
Fluent in English, oral and written
Personal skills: Quality conscious, Result oriented, Analytical skill, Service minded, Flexible and Resourceful
EU work permit

You should have an interest for rational product development and production economics and enjoy handling multiple tasks at the same time.

Documented experience of working in similar environments, such as the biotechnology, life sciences or pharmaceutical industries, is also highly advantageous.
