SCO IBP (Industrial Base Performance) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive solutions with a clear environmental focus.

We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join the Lamination & Web handling Competence team. In the role, you will be part of a skilled dynamic team focusing on Extrusion Coating where you will be driving and developing new converting solutions and creation of improvements towards our installed base in our factory environment. You will work with a big variety of tasks and act in many different roles, where you will have close contact with our converting factories, central supply chain and our development organisation.

The position will be based in Lund and requires some travelling.

What you will do
· Represent the line competence area in development projects
· Drive technical know-how activities and develop competence around extrusion coating techniques
· Take part in issue resolution and support of our converting factories on technical issues regarding process and equipment
· Participate in both internal and external networks
· Enable collaboration with different stakeholders to take an active part in Tetra Pak’s sustainability agenda
Who you are
You are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. You are an analytical and organised team player making it easy for you to create a structured way of working and keep track on many parallel activities. You have a strong technical interest and quality is a mindset of yours. Furthermore, you are transparent, open for change and collaboration with others within and outside the organisation.

We believe you have a University degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering. The successful candidate has several years’ experience from working with converting processes or preferably packaging material production. You communicate fluently in English.
