Packaging Lines Engineering Automation plays a significant role to obtain Automation & Digitalization objectives in the current and future Tetra Pak product portfolio. This position will be in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travelling is required.


What you will do
Within this organisation we are now looking for a Development Engineer who will:
Develop and maintain Simulated environment (Hardware in the Loop) & Automatic-Test engines for Automation & Digital systems (e.g. Packaging Equipment & Lines) with the aim to shorten SW development time and increase quality.
Explore, Develop & Industrialize advanced motion, mechatronic & robotic solutions related to Tetra Pak Packaging lines.
Collaborate/Drive Automation Suppliers around Motion, Robotics & Simulation arena to secure that current and Future Tetra Pak’s needs are fully satisfied
Work in multidisciplinary teams to support Project’s objectives



Who you are
We are looking for a structured, and result-oriented person, who is also passionate, highly motivated and with a good inclination for innovation & out-of-the-box thinking. You can anticipate and understand complex issues and situations. You can analyse possible solutions and implement the willing ones. You have good communication skills and the ability to work in groups and to create strong professional relations with different level of stakeholders (internal and external), exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals. You have the capacity to drive activities independently and make things happen in the organization and drive them to completion. You can deal with Suppliers (and their roadmaps) to be a reference for your colleagues around HIL Simulation, Advanced Motion & Robotics. University degree either in Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Automation Engineering is required. You are skilled in English, both written and spoken. A good knowledge of PLC Automation in the Packaging industry will be considered a plus. A good knowledge of Python and MATLAB environment will be considered a plus as well.
