About the job
With a broad global and local contact, you will be part of the R&D valves group and responsible for development and maintenance of the Alfa Laval valves portfolio. Your main tasks include development of new hygienic valves in corporation with colleagues from the R&D team and other functions globally in Alfa Laval. You will be involved in project activities from idea to product launch. In corporation with the team you will work with quality and process improvement as well as optimisation of resources and project lead times.
What you know
You have a strong technical background as mechanical engineer combined with min. 2 years’ experience in construction, preferably of hygienic equipment.
You are skilled in CFD and would like to develop this competence further.
You are confident in using CAD (NX preferably) and FEM as a natural part of you work.
You have proven experience with mechanical design preferably from the hygienic industry where you have knowledge in design requirements, manufacturing methods and applications.
