Supply Chain Operations Supply Chain Operations manufactures packaging material, packaging systems and distribution solutions for Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions.The Capital Equipment Supply Chain division (CE SCO) is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site.BaseMat is us!Do you want to be a part of BaseMat, securing supply and quality of polymers; from dozens of supplier to more than 30 Tetra Pak convering factories.A truly global challenge.Base Materials is a part of Supplier Management within SCO.Base Materials strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in co-operation with our suppliers, converting factories and Business areas.This in order to strengthen the Tetra Pak value chain and contribute to its superior competitiveness for the benefit of our customers and the environment.Base Materials is responsible for development and quality improvements of base materials and also responsible for developing and securing competence in the area of base materials, necessary to secure the right packaging quality for Tetra Pak.You will be working with: - Approval of new polymer qualities - Quality assurance of different polymers in Tetra Pak's commercial packaging systems - Translation of package demands into measurable parameters of packaging material and polymers - Initiate and drive improvement projects on polymers, packaging materials and package.- Support and competence sharing in the areas of polymers and packaging material within Tetra Pak - Technical auditing of suppliers - Creation, development and maintenance of polymer specifications The position requires experience from polymer or packaging industry.The preferred candidate has a university degree within Polymer Technology, Material Science or Chemistry and a very good command of English, both written and verbal.The person we are looking for is pro-active, innovative and a high performer both individually and in teams.Since a part of the work is to build relationships within Tetra Pak and with suppliers it is important that you have very good communication and interpersonal skills.The work includes international travelling (around 50 days per year).
