Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The group Engine front end system and electrics, NMDF, is responsible for the development of the engine´s electromechanical components, belt transmission and Air conditioning compressors. We are now facing exciting times with the development of new technologies in cooperation within the TRATON Group.

Your role
In the position of development engineer for A/C-compressors you will be responsible for development of Scania/TRATON´s future Air conditioning compressors.
You will lead the collaboration work within Scania and together with suppliers to develop state of art component for our future applications.
Our work is carried out in a structured way by following our milestones and development process
Examples of tasks:
• Responsible for component integration, setting requirements and assuring the quality of complete product development
• Developing and archiving technical documentation in the form of 3D models, 2D drawings and technical reports.
• Analyse test results and draw the correct conclusions
Qualifications
You have an engineering degree within mechanical, electronics or mechatronics alternatively experience and knowledge about our area of responsibility with a drive to learn.
Meritorious to have previous CAD experience
You can communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken plus have at least basic Swedish knowledge with an intention to develop further.

• You are open-minded and focused in terms of finding ways to solve technical challenges.
