Job Summary
We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join the Lamination & Web Handling team with a focus on Extrusion & Surface treatment ownership and development.
This role will belong to D&T IBE (Development & Technology Industrial Base Engineering) which is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires approximately 10% of travelling.

What you will do
In this role, the main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain innovative solutions related to the Surface treatment equipment and process. You will be involved in development projects, problem solving activities as well as supporting our converting factories taking a central ownership of equipment within your scope. The job is done in an agile team where you give and get support to/from your peers.
You will focus on
As our new colleague, you will be responsible for:
Support to installation projects for new equipment in our factories.
Participate in and drive internal projects and improvement activities.
Support internal and external stakeholders in obsolescence management.
Secure that Tetra Pak Corporate Standards, Guidelines, and processes are followed.
Together with supplier management, drive an agenda with our suppliers to secure quality and to improve technical performance.
Participate and drive internal and external competence- and stakeholder networks.
Develop and continuously improve processes, procedures, standards, and tools within area of responsibility.

Your strong communication skills combined with your interpersonal capabilities enable you to easily interact across borders (both internally and externally with our suppliers and partners). Furthermore, you can adjust to the situation and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
We think you have an engineering degree combined with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. As you will work in an international environment, it is important that you have a good command of English, both written and oral.
