Your new position:
As a Development Engineer at IRnova you will set internal process and perform detector optronics characterization. You will work in close contact with the Production Team, R&D team, and Technical Support for sales and customer support.
The position implies a great deal of practical work in the lab.
You will be responsible for:
- IRnova’s volume production measurement throughput and statistical analysis robustness.
- Setting and maintaining a robust measurement process for all IRnova´s products
Your daily tasks will be:
- Optimize characterization methodology
- Define and maintain characterization benches and tools.
- Provide technical support and assistance to production team.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Participate to technical support internal investigations
Production processes at IRnova include test measurements and characterization of the products - large image arrays and integrated modules. The characterization process employs a great deal of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, such as technical physics, automation electronic equipment, applied programming, and mechanical design.
Your background:
We think you have a BSc or a MSc, but other graduate degrees could be considered, or equivalent work experience.
To be a suitable candidate for this position, we believe you possess the following competencies:
- Electronics and automation (highly valued).
- Applied programming (MATLAB or similar).
- Mechanical design.
- Infrared imaging is a merit.
