Your key responsibilities


As a Development Engineer - Electrical with us, you will work on developing and enhancing the electrical components of future heavy industrial trucks. You will be part of a global development department and play a significant role in both today's machines powered by internal combustion engines and the future electrified trucks. In your role, you will contribute with your technical understanding of the overall application and tackle daily problem-solving and technically advanced challenges. Working with us, you will engage with products encompassing a wide range of technologies, including drivetrains, electric propulsion systems, energy storage, hydraulics, vehicle automation, machine control, and digitalization. We operate in a global environment with staff and collaborative partners all around the world.


Your primary location will be at our office in Markaryd, but there are excellent opportunities for partial remote work. You will report to our Manager for Machine Control & Electrical Engineers.

What should you bring?


We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest, particularly in electricity and electrical design. You might be a recent graduate with a degree in electrical engineering or related fields, or you might have previously worked as an industrial lecturer, or you have demonstrated skills in control systems, electronics, data communication, electrical safety, and motor control.


Experience with modern electrical design tools such as E3, SolidWorks Electric, Autocad, and ideally, familiarity with parametric 3D CAD, is considered a merit. Our machines share a lot of electrical technology with the automotive industry.


You enjoy problem-solving and thrive in a teamwork-oriented environment. You are a skilled communicator, able to express yourself both verbally and in writing in English and Swedish. To succeed in this role, you are analytical, structured, and goal-oriented, while also being innovative and capable of finding new ways to create customer value and meet market demands. You need to have the ability to shift your focus from a system level to also address broader technical challenges. You are dedicated to continuous growth and open to utilizing new technology and methods in your approach.
