At Main Systems you will be part of a community of equally skilled and passionate engineers that work closely together. Agile is a cornerstone in our way of working not just to achieve speed and customer satisfaction but also to improve our working situation continuously. We work close to the end product (trucks and buses) and you will have the possibility to work with developing function in the morning and test it in a vehicle in the afternoon. You will not just be able to see and touch the things you develop you will be able to drive them. Our development sprints include all activities including requirement handling, programming, and testing.
We develop embedded systems and functions, ranging all the way from platform SW to advanced driver assistant systems. Together we have the responsibility for the central control units in our trucks and busses, and it is within that system our SW will contribute to our continued success and ability to navigate through times of change.

Your profile
As a person, you love being part of a team with a common goal, where you are challenged by new situations and problems. You are curious, open-minded, and eager to share your experience with the team, as well as grow your own expertise. You can apply your experience and knowledge from the customer or user's perspective.
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc in the fields of embedded systems, mechatronics, computer science, electronics, or relevant work experience. However, your attitude, mindset, and personality are of equal importance.

What we can offer you
As a Scania employee, you have an almost endless variety of future professional development opportunities and great colleagues and within Main Systems you will have the possibility to be part of, and shape, our future journey.
