Development Engineer Embedded Technology

Our client is an international company in the business of Home Appliances. The office is located in central Stockholm.

For our client, we are now hiring a Developmemnt Engineer in Embedded Technology. This is a consultant assignment that will lead to employment with our customer for the right person. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.

We are looking for a junior engineer who can join our client's team and make software for their products in floor care, air care and other small domestic appliances. Examples include robot vacuum cleaners, stick vacuum cleaners and internet-connected air purifiers. The devices are programmed in C and C++, and use various other languages and tools for our development and test environments. Your software will sometimes be running on the bare electronics, so you need to understand how hardware works. Some of the products are connected to the internet, some of them have operating systems, some don't, so there is a variety of systems to work on. We want someone who thrives as part of a team, and is ready for a two-way exchange of ideas and competence.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Good to have: WiFi, Bluetooth, Serial communication,

Must have: Team player, C programming, some electronics HW experience/knowledge, Swedish or English, degree or equivalent in engineering, embedded, electronic or computer science. C++ experience.
