Development Engineer - Extrusion and Surface Treatment-LUN0001A7
Description
SCO IBM is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join the Extrusion & Surface treatment development team. The main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain innovative solutions related to the extrusion process and equipment. You will be involved in development projects, problem solving activities as well as supporting our converting factories.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires approximately 25% of travelling.
Main responsibilities
.Represent the line competence in development projects
.Drive technical know-how activities and develop competence around the extrusion technology
.Be part of issue resolution and support our converting factories on technical issues regarding process and equipment
.Develop and maintain a relation with both internal and external networks
Qualifications
You are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. You also need to be self-motivated with an inner drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization. Your communication style is open and you find it easy to collaborate with others within and outside the organisation. Analytical reasoning and a structured way of working is important to be successful in this position.
You have an educational background within engineering such as physics, mechanics or chemistry. The extrusion process includes several technologies as electrical heating, electrical and mechanical power transfer and polymer material phase transformation. We believe you have 3 to 5 years working experience from relevant industry.
Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
