Supply Chain Operations IBP (Industrial Base Performance) is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
The Finishing department within SCO is responsible for Process, Equipment and Competence of our converting process. We deliver results in the forefront of development within the area of expertise.
To sharpen us even more we are now looking for a skilled Development Engineer.
This is a temporary position for 8 months.
What you will do
You will be part of a new agile team and you will focus on:
· Development and Lifecycle management of Finishing solutions
· Supporting implementations worldwide of Finishing solutions
· Represent the area in different forums externally and internally
· Collaboration with converting factories and suppliers
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travels are required, mainly in Europe.
Who you are
To be successful in this position, experience from working in an international environment. Experience from installations is seen as an advantage. It’s preferred if you have a degree in Engineering. It is highly valued if you have experience from working with slitting, sealing or finishing equipment or similar process knowledge. AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
You have a strong drive for results, are passionate about your work and take ownership of your activities and informal leadership is nothing new to you.
Since the position involves much collaboration with a lot of different stakeholders, you need to be flexible with a strong ability to adjust. To communicate with people on all levels, within and outside the organization, comes natural to you, and you can work both independently as in groups and different projects.
Analytical reasoning, a structured and flexible way of working is important.
A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
