Experis is now looking to hire a development engineer that will be part of a great team at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery site in Finspång.


Description

In your role as a development engineer you will support the technical area involving fire and gas within the auxiliary's development of the new business side. The technical area has the overall standard responsibility for fire detection, gas detection, fire suppression and GT dryer and washing equipment. There is a lot of activity within this field, among others detection of new gases such as H2, new sub suppliers and new fire suppression methods.

As a development engineer you will handle and assist in all ongoing assignments connected to fire and gas detection systems.

Assignment
Resource for projects within the technical area, taking responsibility that project implementation proceeds according to the strategy for Fire and gas.
Contribute to the sustaining of the standard of fire and gas.
Contribute to cost reduction of the product within the technical area.
Support other parts of the business such as sales, procurement, order and service.
The work is not only mechanical but overlaps areas such as electrical installation, instrumentation and requires handling interfaces to a lot of other technical areas.
Contribute to and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions, in a self-managed and target oriented manner, in order to reach team results.


What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* You are an engineer with good knowledge in fire and gas with previous experience within the field
* Results and quality orientation with focus on the customer.
* English language skills, both in writing and verbally is required.
* You are team-oriented with experience from working in project teams.
* Knowledge of Siemens Gas turbine products is beneficial.
* Engineer with a bachelor's degree, preferably with previous experience from a similar field of technology, such as fire detection, fire suppression, gas detection and how these parts form a system.
* As a person you are driven, structured, with a great ability to communicate both internally and with external parties.
