Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Are you interested in how the electrical system on Scania trucks works? Get the opportunity to work with interfaces internally in R&D, but also in production, in purchasing and with our suppliers?


Our wiring harness and power supply department at the Scania technical centre in Södertälje is responsible for laying the wiring harnesses on the chassis and for the mounting bases for them for production. We are also responsible for the wiring diagrams and purchased parts of the chassis and cab wiring. Within our department we are also responsible for the method and process development that all cabling organizations in R&D follow.

 

What are our expectations?

-You will be responsible to design and routing our low voltage cable harnesses, being part of the projects from the planning phase until the vehicles are delivered to the customer.

-You have a good cooperation with all cross functions such as layout engineers, system owners, purchasing, suppliers, production, quality and services market.

-You improve the harness design with focus on quality and cost, but also our methods and processes.

What is your profile?

-Besides feeling engaged and committed by this advertisement, you have a bachelor or a master degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering field.

-Experience from the automotive industry and/or cable harness design is desirable, but not a requirement.

-You like it to handle different things at the same time.
