In our department, we support production units globally by providing solutions, methods, processes and technology to help verify our products are of the highest standard of quality for our customers. Our mission is to ensure that our solutions are packed with built-in knowledge so that our production units around the world can reach their objective to manufacture high grade products.
So, what does this mean for you as a Development Engineer at Sandvik Coromant? Well, you develop metrology solutions and processes in terms of software, hardware and methods that are reliable, cost-effective and support the organization’s short and long-term objectives. You drive and contribute to improvements in order to increase productivity, quality and cost of equipment, processes, work and best practices.
You’re preferably located at our site in Sandviken, Sweden since most of our team are based there. However, this position can be navigated from one of our other global Sandvik Coromant Tools sites in Sweden, Germany, Norway, India, USA, China, and Japan. Some international travel, a few times per year, is also included in this role.

Geometric Metrology (measuring technology)
Optical Metrology
Production Engineering
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
CAD design
CAM programming
Automation of manufacturing data
Programming in Java or similar
Great written and verbal English skills
