Development engineer - Hydraulics cylinders

Product Development in Eskilstuna: Development engineer - Hydraulic cylinders Want to join and further develop our already world-leading products? The department is responsible for both new development and product maintenance of hydraulic components for both Articulated Haulers and Wheel Loaders. One important component is the Hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder is manufactured within Volvo CE and thereby we work closely with our factory when developing this component. We are now looking for a development engineer to lead the development of the hydraulic cylinders for Wheel Loaders and Haulers. Examples of tasks are: Specification of hydraulic cylinder Drawings for components and 3D modelling Technical contacts with suppliers for sealings and castings Technical contacts with the Volvo factory that manufacture the cylinder Technical contacts with other Volvo CE products about cylinder development The work is mostly preformed in cross-functional projects. Desirable qualifications: You have a technical education within Mechanical Engineering. Previous experience of design work in any of the above fields is qualifying. Experience in working with heavy vehicles is qualifying As a person you flexible and enjoy working both independently and in groups in an outgoing and communicative way It is important that you have your own drive and initiative and a practical orientation and like to solve technical issues.
