Development Engineer in HW Test

Experis Engineering is looking for a Development Engineer for development and maintenance of existing products within home appliances in Stockholm. The mission of the Development Engineer is to support the Small Appliances organization in the development of new products and maintenance of existing products. This includes creating, evaluating, verifying and improving technical solutions and products. The Development Engineer is able to take on the role as Test Leader. In a project the Development Engineer is reporting to the Project Manager. The Development Engineer can also work on special assignments without a Project Manager to deliver a given task when required.

Your main responsibilities are to:

* Develop and improve technical solutions for vacuum cleaners as well as other small appliances.

* Assure that technically feasible, well-verified and defined solutions are chosen for the product. Selected solutions must be based on cross-functional input and agreed with the Project Manager.

* Perform tests according to IEC standards, national and internal regulations.

* Design test set-ups and test verifications to evaluate new and existing solutions in our products.

* Create technical documentation and make sure that these are updated and available for other functions.

* Report progress, risks and deviation to plans to the Project Manager and/or the solid line Manager.

* Evaluate test results, identify and report actions needed to fulfill specification.

* Investigate and solve quality problems.

* Translate knowledge from testing into proposals for improvements.

* Assure that appropriate activities are performed to each CP phase

* Support other functions involved in the project with product know-how.

* Check and certify invoices.

* Function as System Test Leader in projects, i.e. create complete test plans and also organize for the tests to be performed within and outside the team.

* Work on special assignments without a Project Manager to deliver a given task.

* Participate in Engineering and Technical reviews.

Who are you?

We believe that you have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering, Design and Product development or Mechanical Engineering. You have good knowledge in:

* Testing procedures and standards

* Writing technical project reports (English)

* Product creation process

* Work shop experience e.g. practical

As a person you are creative, target oriented, proactive and a good team player with excellent ability to work in cross-functional and international teams. Further you have strong communication skills and hold good analytical skills.
