Description
Do you want to develop your mechanical and plastic moulding skills?
Tetra Pak Carton Bottle Platform is responsible for developing and engineering a product portfolio that offers a competitive alternative to plastic bottles in the Liquid Dairy Product and Juice, Nectar & Still Drinks categories for both chilled and ambient distribution, including the packaging systems Tetra Evero Aseptic®, Tetra Rex® and Tetra Top®.
As Development Engineer Injection Moulding you will be a part of the technical development and product maintenance of our integrated Plastic Moulding solutions within our filling machines. You will be involved in new development as well as problem solving activities, designing and validating new technical solutions. You will be offered an autonomous and networking role in one of Tetra Pak´s core competence areas.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, validate and document innovative solutions related to Plastic Moulding to meet set requirements.
- Represent the Injection Moulding team in development project teams.
- Build and share knowledge in the Injection Moulding area within Tetra Pak.
Qualifications
You will bring an innovative and analytical mind and strong mechanical and problem solving skills. You are a true team player and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. The ability to listen is as important as being able to present your findings. You have a strong personal drive and will enjoy the challenge to learn and specialise in a Tetra Pak core competence area.
You have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least a few years mechanical design experience, preferably from the polymer processing industry. You understand
polymer-mechanical interaction and the moulding process. You are skilled in Pro/Engineer and also have knowledge or experience about simulations and simulation tools for example; Pro/Mechanica, Structure, Dynamics. Experience from Robust Design and Six Sigma is highly valued. Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
