Development Engineer Lamination

part of Development & Engineering, the D&E Packaging Material organization is responsible to develop, maintain and implement world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions.

Being a Development Engineer in Coating & Lamination, Packaging Material you will develop, evaluate, validate and document innovative solutions related to Lamination delivering this to our development projects.You will be part of a team working as Development Engineers and Technology Specialists.


Main responsibilities

-Develop innovative solutions based on technical specifications in Lamination
-Translate market, cost and technical requirements into technical specifications
-Support the Tetra Pak organization on specific technical subjects and current solutions
-Knowledge sharing in the relevant competence areas within Tetra Pak
-Maintain contact with suppliers regarding equipment within the competence area
-Build and maintain internal and external competence networks

To be successful in this position you need a strong personal drive and integrity with the ability to meet set targets.It is crucial that you have a creative mind with a strong interest of analyzing technical challenges and come up with innovative solutions.You are a passionate team player and realize the importance of sharing your knowledge with others.Communication skills and the ability to adjust to different people and cultures are important as you will be working cross functional with different projects and nationalities.

You have 2-3 years experience from working within converting industry and/or with polymers and materials.You have an educational background within Mechanical or Physics Engineering.You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
