As part of our Development organisation, the Packaging Material organisation is responsible to develop, maintain and implement world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions.

As the enabler for package forming, creasing is identified as one of Tetra Pak's key competence areas. The Creasing group is focusing on development of new creasing solutions and product maintenance of the installed base of creasing equipment in our converting factories all over the world. We are doing this by understanding the needs of our customers and factories, delivering on their needs with a focus on Robust Design.

In this position you will work with developing ideas for both new and improved package attributes to technical solutions fit for deployment in our converting factories. In the development of excellent creasing solutions you will work with different internal functions as well as with external suppliers.

The position is based in Lund and will require 10-30 days of travelling per year.

Main responsibilities
- Creasing technology development and requirementsspecification.
- Verification and validation to secure setrequirements and robust solutions.
- Technology scouting, screening and technicalknowhow activities.


Qualifications

We are looking for an innovative new colleague with a strong technical interest. You have a creative as well as an analytical mindset, and you enjoy developing and deepening your technical expertise. You have a clear communication style and understand the importance of sharing information. As a part of a team you are open and collaborative.

You have some years experience working in the manufacturing industry preferably within tooling, board, paper or polymers. You have probably been working as a development engineer, applying requirements management, verification and validation strategies. You have good knowledge of applied statistics, Six Sigma Green belt is meriting. Experience of machine design and ProE is also meriting. Your educational background is a Masters degree in Mechanical or Physics Engineering.
