D&T Industrial Base Engineering is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
The Material Treatment & Finishing department is responsible for Process, Equipment and Competence of our converting process. We deliver results in the forefront of development within the area of expertise.
To sharpen us even more we are now looking for a skilled Development Engineer. Are you ready for a new challenge prepared to contribute and influence?
The position is permanent and based in Lund and will include travelling up to 20%.
What you will do
You will be part of an experienced and Agile team and you will focus on:
Define future of Finishing solution in Converting factories
Collaboration and continuous improvement with equipment suppliers
Capability and Flow simulations
Support implementations to succeed in Vertical Start-ups worldwide
Represent Finishing area both externally and internally
Collaboration with Converting factories
You will focus on
Develop knowledge within Finishing Process and Equipment i.e. Slitting, Doctoring and Reel Handling
Understanding and developing the integration of production systems in the Finishing process area, in line with the industry/Tetra Pak IT/OT roadmap.
Secure effective transfer of capabilities to Converting factories in implementation projects
Apply Early Management (EM) methodology and define factory layouts
Who you are
Relevant engineering degree is a requirement. Highly valued if you have experience from the Finishing process in a Converting factory environment. AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage. Automation/IT network awareness is an advantage. Experience in logistic flow analysis is seen as a merit.
You have a strong drive for results, are passionate about your work and take ownership of your activities. Since the position involves much collaboration with a lot of different stakeholders, you need to be flexible with a strong ability to adjust. To communicate with people on all levels, within and outside the organization, comes natural to you, and you can work both independently and in groups and different projects. Analytical reasoning, a structured and flexible way of working is important. A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
