TEMPORARY POSITION
We are looking for a new Development Engineer Microbiology who wants to be a part of a team conducting filling machine aseptic validation and other microbiological activities.
The responsibility will cover mainly the microbiological laboratory steps in preparing and conducting a defined test program, but can from time to time also require participation in the tests at filling machine as well. The assignment also includes an infrastructural responsibility in terms of lab maintenance.
This is a temporary position based in Lund, Sweden for approximately 1 year.
What you will do
Conduction of microbiological lab activities:
Inoculation of test objects with test microorganisms including operations of different inoculation rigs
Support in preparing test microorganisms, test objects and test media
Growth of test organisms
Recovery, analysis and results reporting
Analysis of packaging material and additional materials (e.g. straws)
Report writing
Support on general microbiological inquires and growth studies
Laboratory maintenance
Coordination of lab maintenance activities (e.g. calibration, rig service, cleaning)
Maintenance of lab consumables (e.g. stock taking, re-filling, ordering)
Who you are
As a person, you are expected to be accurate and quality minded. But at the same time you shall recognize the need for quick decisions and changed plans. You should be open to try new methods and tasks, and like to be part of different teams as required. You have a degree within microbiology and 1-3 years of laboratory experience. Experience within statistics is considered a plus. Your English command is excellent, written as well as spoken.
