Research, development and manufacturing is a match between Swedish know-how in manufacturing and design and Japanese advanced technology. Research and development is conducted as a collaborative effort between Swedish, Japanese, and Chinese engineers.

The plant at Trollhättan is the main hub of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, including head office, research & development and manufacturing.

Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Development engineer NVH.

We are looking for a person who wants to work in a Laboratory environment as a general NVH (Noise, vibration and harshness) engineer, reinforcing a number of competence areas within automotive NVH.

Your main focus will initially be the areas of general acoustic competence but also as manpower in the Noise and Vibration area. You will use your technical skills in order to meet expectations from both internal and external customers.

The role will also include:
-       Responsibility for target setting and validation of the actual competence areas
-       Actively taking part in, investigation, development and evaluation of your specific
        N&V areas. This work is pursued in close cooperation with construction and other
        testing departments.
-       Assist the production site in N&V related issues.
-       Contact with both internal clients and external customers.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
-          Relevant experience and technical skills in the work area, at least 5 years.
-          Master of science or equivalent.
-          Driving license B.
-          Hands on and theoretical knowledge and experience in the road noise area.
-          Relevant experience and skills for performing and evaluate Road noise tests. 

Areas of specific interest (but not to exclude other NVH areas) for us are:
-          Acoustic Isolation
-          Wind noise
-          Electric motor noise
-          System- and customer actuated component noise.
-          Psycho - acoustics. 
-          S&R experience

You master English, both spoken and written.
