Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.The Material Innovation group works to drive innovation by scouting, creating and evaluating concepts based on packaging material ideas, this to secure technology leadership with focus on cost driven innovation.As one of our colleagues is going on maternity leave we are recruiting her temporary replacement.As Development Engineer within Paperboard you will have the opportunity to work independently with varied tasks in an innovative environment. This is a temporary position, 18-24 months Your main tasks in this role will be to: .Support our development projects with specialist knowledge in paperboard .Drive carton development in collaboration with our suppliers The person we are looking for has a Master of Science degree in Engineering, majoring in paper or pulp.You also need to have excellent English skills, both verbal and written.You should be creative, curious and passionate about your field of expertise and able to drive your own work independently.Furthermore you are analytical, organized and work well in teams and networks.
