Development Engineer Plastic Moulding

Would you like to work in projects covering a wide span from early scouting of new technologies to implementing technologies and materials in to packaging platforms?

In-Line Plastic Moulding is one of the Key Competencies within D&E Packaging Technology.Our task is to develop plastic moulding technology and materials for integration in our packaging platforms.

As Development Engineer you will work with the latest technology within the field of plastic moulding, such as injection moulding machines, materials for injection moulding and assurance tools in order to meet the demands on robustness and quality of the packaging system.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
-Develop new injection moulding solutions with focus on material for the Carton Bottle Platform
-Plan, perform and drive test and possible simulation activities, internal and together with machine platforms
-Drive development of test methods needed for characterization of materials
-Use of robust design, analyze empirical test results and simulations and compile development reports
-Scout for new technologies & material solutions

Kvalifikationer


You hold a PhD or M.Sc.in the field of polymer science.We believe you have at least 5 years work experience from the polymer or the plastic moulding industry, or equivalent.Experience from simulation tools is an advantage.

As a person you are self-motivated with a strong personal drive and a structured mindset.You are analytical and creative with the ability to combine theoretical studies and practical experiments.Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be very useful as you will be collaborating with colleagues within different competence areas.Your command of written and spoken English is excellent.
