Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for Development Engineers, Powertrain and Vehicle Controls. The Development engineer Powertrain/Vehicle controls primarily collaborates internally with projectleaders, product engineers and technical specialists. External communication involves system suppliers and engineering service providers.

This role is also expected to:

-          Develop Powertrain/Vehicle controls related system and subsystem
           requirements that meet the overall vehicle requirements.

-          Support supplier assessments / reviews.

-          Develop, calibrate and evaluate vehicle level control logic in the areas of
           drivability, range, efficiency, performance, diagnostics and safety.

-          Develop and run vehicle / powertrain simulation models.

-          Identify root-causes of identified issues during verification / validation and
           develop countermeasures as needed.

 
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

-          Relevant experience in the work area, preferably in the automotive
           industry.

-          University engineering education, degree in Master of Science or equivalent
           experience.

-          Drivers license B 

You master English, both spoken and written.

 

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, you need to:

-          Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle/powertrain
           controls, particularly in an EV (Electric Vehicle) context..

-          Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.

-          Have good communication and motivation skills.

-          Have good Matlab/Simulink skills.

-          Have excellent experience in Vector CANape and/or Etas INCA tools.

-          Be willing to travel frequently (up to 50-75% in winter season).
