Do you want to be part of a team working on world leading technology securing the future of our Pre-Press technology?
The Pre-Press & Printing process team has the responsibility to develop, maintain and improve the Specifications within Pre-Press and Printing.The team is the global owner of the equipment and process specifications for Prepress as well as the process specifications for Printing.It also provides competence support to Product Creation, Industrialization and Order Fulfillment activities and projects.We are now looking for a Development Engineer within the area of pre-press technology.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Build and share leading expertise in one or more specific competencies in the area of Pre-Press Technologies.
- Develop innovative solutions based on technical specifications
- Translate market, cost and technical requirements into technical specifications.
- Validate and document with calculations and detailed analysis the above solutions in development reports.
- Advise Tetra Pak organization on specific technical subjects, current solutions and project timelines
The position will be based in Lund, Sweden with approx 30% of travelling time.
Kvalifikationer
You have a strong personal drive with the ability to meet set targets on your own.It is essential that you realize the importance of sharing your knowledge with the team.Communication skills and the ability to adjust to different persons is important as you will be working cross functional with different projects.
To be successful you will need at least 5 years within the industry working with Prepress Technologies focus on Flexography plate making.Relevant experience would be working in printing company, plate manufacturer or plate making equipment manufacturer.We believe that you have knowledge and experience from printability evaluation and colour management knowledge.You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
