We are looking for a new Development Engineer who wants to develop and improve our prepress & printing technology and equipment.
You will join a diverse team consisting of different engineers. The PrePress & Printing team within SCO IBP at Tetra Pak has the responsibility to develop, maintain and improve global specifications within PrePress, Printing & Digital Printing. We are the global owner of various equipment and process specifications and drive optimization and standardization of our end to end graphics operations.
Work includes problem-solving, support within technology know how, setting requirements, implement solutions and support installations in production. You will be leading or participating in development activities and collaborating both internally and with external partners.
What you will do
As Development Engineer, you will:
Define, develop, and deploy innovative prepress and/or printing technology solutions.
Translate market needs, cost, and technical requirements into technical specifications.
Improve existing- and develop new solutions through value driven innovation.
Test and validate solutions with analytical analysis methodology and document results.
Advise organization on specific technical subjects, current solutions, and project timelines.
Support D&E org, our programmes and implementation projects with know-how.
Build, drive and maintain continuous internal and external competence development.

This is a permanent position and you will be based in Lund, Sweden. Some travel is expected, maximum up to 25 % of your time.
Who you are
You are, at heart, curious, passionate about developing tomorrows prepress and printing technology. We believe, you have a structured and analytical way of working. With strong personal drive and clear focus on delivering results with quality. Furthermore, you are both independent and collaborative.
We believe you have:
Experience in developing and improving equipment and process technology
Operation and maintenance of printing and/or prepress equipment
Relevant engineering degree and perhaps a graphical education of some kind
Knowledge in WCM and agile methods are meritorious
Fluent in English, written as well as spoken
