Development Engineer - Printing Technology

The Pre-Press & Printing process team has the responsibility to develop, maintain and improve the Specifications within Pre-Press and Printing.The team is the global owner of the equipment and process specifications for Prepress as well as the process specifications for Printing.It also provides competence support to Product Creation, Industrialization and Order Fulfillment activities and projects.We are now looking for a development engineer within the area of printing technology.

You will participate on strategic projects focus on meeting our customer's needs.You will be part of a multinational and multicultural team with colleagues from 11 different nationalities.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Build and share leading expertise in one or more specific competencies in the area of Printing Technologies.
- Develop innovative solutions based on technical specifications
- Translate market, cost and technical requirements into technical specifications.
- Validate and document with calculations and detailed analysis the above solutions in development reports.
- Advise Tetra Pak organization on specific technical subjects, current solutions and project timelines


The position will be based in Lund, Sweden with approx 30% of travelling time.


Kvalifikationer

To be a successful candidate you have knowledge of printing technology (including prepress) with focus on board printability.You have a strong personal drive with the ability to meet set targets on your own.It is essential that you realize the importance of sharing your knowledge with the team.Communication skills and the ability to adjust to different persons is important as you will be working cross functional with different projects.

You have between 3 to 5 years of industrial experience working with Printing Technology.Experience from Flexography is a requirement.You have preferably a university degree within printing and good knowledge of image analysis.You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
