Development Engineer Printing Technology

The Pre-Press & Printing technology team within the Packaging Material Platform has the responsibility to develop maintain and improve the Specifications within Pre-Press and Printing.We are the global owner of the Tetra Pak equipment and process specifications for Pre-Press and Printing.

Our role is to provide competence, delivering Pre-Press & Printing solutions within all our projects, ranging from package development through to process and equipment development and to installation projects.We are also responsible for our Specification Maintenance program, always securing our Specifications are up to date and available for all users.

We are now looking for a Development Engineer within the area of printing technology.


Main responsibilities

-Build and share leading knowledge in one or more specific competence areas of Printing Technology
-Translate market and technical needs into well defined requirements
-Develop innovative solutions based on the requirements
-Analyze design, verify and validate in accordance with our global working processes

The position will be based in Lund, Sweden with approx 20% of travelling time.

To be successful in this position you have a strong personal drive with the ability to meet set targets.It's key that you have a creative mind with a strong interest of analyzing technical challenges and come up with innovative solutions.You are a passionate team player and realize the importance of sharing your knowledge within the team.Communication skills and the ability to adjust to different people and cultures are important as you will be working cross functional with different projects and nationalities.

You have an educational background from Mechanical Engineering, preferably a Master of Science degree.It is preferred that you have a few years of experience from packaging industry, but we are also interested in recently graduated talents.We believe that you have a strong interest in Printing technology and solutions.You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and we appreciate if you also speak additional languages.
