Carton Economy leads the development of the Tetra Fino Aseptic, Tetra Classic Aseptic and Tetra Wedge Aseptic Systems. The Carton Economy organisation is located in Lund, Sweden.
The Package & Distribution Solution team within Carton Economy is now looking for a Development Engineer with focus on Secondary Package. The team is responsible for developing Carton Economy packages, both primary and secondary solutions. In addition we are also technical specification owner of Carton Economy packaging throughout the Product Life Cycle.
Main responsibilities
- Support strategic as well as product development and product life cycle projects with full package concepts for primary, multipack, secondary, tertiary and merchandising concepts with a well judged balance between market needs, technical feasibility, cost impact and environmental profile.
- Develop and drive packaging and distribution knowledge within the organization.
- Lead market support and design activities.
- Represent Carton Economy in Tetra Pak networks for secondary package areas.
- Participate in product development projects representing Package & Distribution Solutions.
Qualifications
With an open and creative mind you are ready for a new challenge. We believe that you are a good team player at the same time as you will be expected to lead initiatives and drive activities independently.
You have an academic degree within engineering and a documented experience in package design, packaging logistics, merchandising solutions or material development. Strong networking skills is vital to establish contacts both externally and internally in different projects. We take for granted that you have good communication skills, both verbal and written English.
