Development Engineer - Technology Spec./Creasing

Tetra Pak Development & Engineering, Packaging Materials is hosting Process Drivers for the industrialization Processes - Commercial Launch, Specification & Master Data Management and Product Life Cycle.

We manage the core competences for packages, packaging materials, base materials, MMI and converting equipment process and specifications.

The group works in partnership with converting in order to create a platform to standardize and continuously update the converting processes and equipment related to different packaging material treatment needs.

Material Treatment group, consisting of 30 skilled and enthusiastic persons, is responsible for areas Creasing, Cutting, Perforation, Punching and Side Sealing, with focus on Process Control of the converting of today.As a key competence we also take a very active part in the long-term converting development with focus on future product and technology needs.

For the area Creasing, which relates to package/product form & shape, we are looking for a development engineer or technology specialist who will work on development and maintenance of the technologies by having deep understanding of product demands on packaging material and translation of these to the relevant converting technology in combination to chosen raw material.

Kvalifikationer

You work in a proactive way and are a goal oriented person.You prefer to work in a structured way and you have very good analytical skills.You also have strong networking skills and have easy to establish new contacts since this is a key to be successful in this position.You have a very good command of English, both written and verbal.

You have at least an MSc degree, Engineer or equivalent Technical Certified.You have also 3-5 years experience from industry focused process development projects (techniques for converting of packaging material related to package forming is preferable) and/or theoretical skills and experience for understanding of the relation between paper board properties in order to choose right method and technology.

The position includes approx.20-40 days travelling/year.
