Description
Carton Bottle Platform is responsible for developing and engineering a product portfolio that offers a competitive alternative to plastic bottles in the Liquid Dairy Product and Juice, Nectar & Still Drinks categories for both chilled and ambient distribution, including the packaging systems Tetra Evero Aseptic®, Tetra Rex® and Tetra Top®.
Packaging & Distribution Solutions within Carton Bottle develops and industrializes attractive and high performing packages and distribution solutions produced at a competitive cost, and works on improving existing systems to increase package performance and/or decrease cost.
In this dynamic and challenging role as Development Engineer you will be a part of the development of packages for our three systems. You will also have an important role in our development projects.
We are now looking for a member to join our team during March 2014 till December 2014, as a replacement due to a paternity leave.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires travelling of up to 15 %.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and drive technical requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and industrialize innovative solutions based on technical specifications.
- In projects drive and take responsibility for activities related to Package & Distribution Solution.
Qualifications
To be successful you need to have the combination of an innovative, analytical and practical mind together with an open and positive attitude. You drive for result and are a good team player who can manage long-term relations in a changing environment.
You have the ability to work independently and have a genuine interest in staying on top of new innovations and technology development and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.
We believe you have a university degree in Engineering combined with 3 years work experience in packaging development. Experience from working in projects is an advantage.
Your English is fluent both written and spoken and you find it easy to work in a multicultural environment.
