Development Engineer Test and Verification

Introduction
Chronic R&D Monitors are now looking for new employees to strengthen the team working on Gambro’s future monitor. The department R&D Monitors is responsible for developing new dialysis monitors to make Gambro’s current portfolio stronger. R&D Monitors is currently expanding and we are now looking for a verification engineer. We offer a stimulating and changing work environment with challenging tasks within the medical device industry.

Job description
Your key responsibilities will include one or more of the following areas:

• Design of test and test equipment
• Participating and contributing in the development of, verification plans, test descriptions, analysis and design
• Execute and/or lead verification for systems, subsystems or components
• Develop routines and processes in the area of verification
• Develop tools and equipment in the area of automated testing

Qualifications?
Appropriate educational background is M.Sc engineering, or other relevant university degrees in electronics or physics. Since our corporate language is English you need to have excellent knowledge in the English language, both orally and in writing. We do see that you add competence to the group in some of the following areas:

• Environmental tests such as EMC, HALT, vibration
• Automated testing and unit testing such as LabView
• Test, test methods and test tools for SW testing and exploratory tests
• Statistical data analysis methods
• MTBF analysis methods
• Experience of test instrument (Oscilloscope, Multimeter etc.)
• Agile development methods

As a person you have the ability to take responsibility and make your own decisions, see simple but practical solutions to complex problems and execute and perform your work in a systematic manner and with high quality. You take initiatives and work both individually and as a part of a larger project. You work in a structured, analytical and creative way.
The position is located in Lund.
