Development Engineer - Test Method Development

We are looking for a Development Engineer, who will develop, improve and life cycle manage test methods within the Material and Package division.
In this role you will be a Development Engineer with test method focus who will impact a central part of Tetra Pak’s Quality initiatives, improvement and life cycle management of Material and Package test methods, continues improvement. You will collaborate with other development Engineers, Laboratory Engineers, and Technology specialists.
This is a temporary position for approx. 1 year.
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Travel is limited.
What you will do
As Development Engineer, you will:
Ensure that released test methods are relevant, effective, safe to use and easy to follow.
Ensure that related test method equipment can be continually sourced where the test methods are intended to be used.
Scout and develop techniques and equipment to characterise/evaluate Packaging Material and Packages.
Build and share knowledge and ways of working.
Drive and communicate plans, progress and results from your area with stakeholders.

Who you are
We believe you have:
Bachelor or Master degree holder in Physics, Chemistry, Material, Nano or equivalent.
Working experience from development within the Material and Package area is an advantage, as well as test method experience within Tetra Pak or outside.
Knowledge of statistics and technique of measurements is required.
Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
