Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. Your experience in Vehicle Thermal Management systems would be invaluable to us both in concept work and when working with current designs for increased customer satisfaction.

This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you´ll do

The System control team is a part of our Propulsion department, which is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers’ expectations. The team consists of software engineers, calibration engineers and system designers. The area of responsibility spans from software development, control system design and propulsion control and calibration.

Your responsibilities will be:

- Calibrating thermal management control functions
- Testing and validating the thermal capability toward requirements in vehicle
- Testing and fault injection of diagnostic functions for thermal system
- Participate in the system work of energy management/thermal system
- Participate in development of thermal management functionality
- Improve the efficiency of energy usage

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within electrical engineering or other similar area
- Previous experience with verification and calibration of vehicle thermal or climate systems
- Previous experience working with tools like INCA and DTECS.
- Previous experience with Matlab/Simulink is meritorious
