Become part of our team
In our team Turbo and Gas exchange performance we are 10 employees – e.g. turbo development leaders, designers and test engineers – working on various engine development projects. Our team is also responsible for the design of turbo installation parts, such as pipes, hoses, sealings and brackets. We are as well responsible for engine auxiliary brake performance, calibration and optimisation.

Your role
The turbocharger is a vital part of the gas exchange system and has a great contribution to engine performance and characteristics. As a development engineer for turbo design and performance you play a key role in an important area within engine development, working continuously with our suppliers as well as other departments within Scania R&D, Purchasing and Production in order to achieve the best result for our clients by balancing properties and requirements.
You will be part of the turbocharger development from early concept to introduction of the product. You make sure the customer gets superior quality and a premium driving experience through excellent integration of components and software.

Your profile
You have an academic background with an engineering degree or equivalent experience within the relevant area. Knowledge within combustion engine technology and turbo machinery is required and expertise within any related science is meritorious.
