Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.You will be a part of a cross functional development team, consisting of development engineers working within: design, automation, calculation and production engineering.We work in all areas of a filling machine development. We are now looking for a Development Engineer dedicated to work with mechanical analysis and simulations.Your main tasks will be; .Work with virtual verification using a variation of tools .To work in different development projects with the aim to develop new or state of the art technology for the different platforms .To drive new methodology within the area of simulations, define processes and tasks to establish an efficient work flow .Work as a development engineer with focus on simulation/calculation and having the possibility to combine theoretical studies with practical tests The successful candidate possesses a Master/ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent, preferably including applied knowledge of tools as ProMechanica and ProMechanism.In combination with this five years of work experience as simulation expert or mechanical designer is preferred.Your understanding of a process and project orientated working style is also useful.Having experience in non-linear numerical methods and tools such as Abaqus or Ansys is an advantage.You are methodical and analytical with the ability to combine the practical and theoretical parts of this position.A high commitment to develop, implement and spread knowledge of simulations is vital.You are a driven, independent and structured individual with high ability to cooperate with other project members in your work.You need to be fluent in both written and verbal English Please submit your application online at www.tetrapak.com/working no later than May 25th, 2007.
