Development Engineer Web Handling

The Web Handling department within Development & Engineering / Packaging Material is responsible for web handling solutions for the converting lines including printing, lamination and finishing.Our mission is to transport the packaging material through converting lines without incurring defects and losses.

We need to strengthen our team in Lund, Sweden with a Development Engineer with great knowledge in and passion for Web Handling.

Main responsibilities
-Be expert in web handling with focus on web handling mechanics
-Build and share web handling knowledge to the organization
-Provide technical support for the Converting Factories
-Represent Web Handling department in internal and external forums and teams

Kvalifikationer

To be successful in this position you need to be a self-motivated person with a drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization.You have great networking skills and an ability to work across borders.Furthermore you are innovative and communicative with an ability to gain commitment.

You have a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics combined with a deep knowledge in web handling mechanics related paperboard, film or converting.You have experience in applied research either at the university or within industries.A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
